THAN AN ORGANIZATION

The *Philippine Economic and Cultural Endowment (PEACE)* is more than an organization. It is a living testimony of solidarity between Filipinos and Americans, united by love for the Philippines and a shared conviction that charity, science, and education can uplift humanity. Its roots trace back to one of the most pivotal moments in Philippine history:
the People Power Revolution of February 1986.

Founded in 1986 after the historic People Power Revolution, Peace-USA (Philippine Economic and Cultural Endowment - USA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting lives in rural Philippines.
Our mission: “To improve the quality of life of Filipinos in the Philippines and to foster a better Philippines.”

Today, decades since its founding, PEACE stands as a bridge between cultures and a testament to the power of collective action. What began as a response to a nation's call has evolved into
a sustained mission of hope, dignity, and empowerment.

From wells that quench thirst in the countryside to scholarships that nurture young minds, the legacy of PEACE lives on. It is a reminder that even in the most turbulent times, communities united by love and purpose can change lives—and perhaps, in some small way, change the world. Together, we've been building hope for over 35 years.
